Matt sent me the following report:

Mid-Atlantic Jeepers Fall Fest 2000 had a great turnout this year. We had approximately 40 vehicles ranging from brand new 2001 bone stock Jeeps to old and ugly modified ones. Trail rides went smooth both days and very few problems arose. The most severe breakdown was a set of blown out rear axle spider gears but no type of breakdown is severe when you have a group of Jeepers around and good friends willing to help out.

The weather all weekend was perfect. The highs were in the 80's and the leaves were almost at their peak colors.

In the evenings there was a large group gathered around the campfire telling stories about the trails and the carnage that day. Some others were gathered around Jeeps fixing things from the trails and the carnage.

To sum it up, I think we all had a good time and learned a little in the process. Some of the newcomers learned the basics of four wheeling and I think all of us learned what it really means to belong to a group consisting of people that will always go out of their way to help one another.

See you all next trip!

Rather than post a bunch of pictures here and make the page unbearably slow to load - especially for us dial-up modem users - here are some links to photos from the run.

That's all I have for now. If you post your own FF 2000 pictures, send me an email and I'll link them in too. And last, but certainly not least,

THANKS MATT!!!!
